These 24 short pieces for piano were not improvised, I composed and scored them in traditional notation. The style is a blend of classical structure with rhythms and tonality often found in new age or rock. The form is generally A-B-A since, at the time, I was heavily influenced by Domenico Scarlatti's keyboard sonatas which have a very strict structure. The similarity ends there, however. I very much wanted the melodic style and harmonization to be uniquely mine.
